Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell are officially parents! The Emily in Paris star, 35, and her filmmaker husband, 41, just welcomed their first child—a beautiful baby girl named Tove Jane McDowell.
The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a sweet photo of their little one snuggled up in a bassinet, wrapped in a cozy, monogrammed blanket with her name embroidered in gold.
“Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell,” Lily wrote in the heartfelt caption, expressing her overwhelming gratitude. “Words will never express how thankful we are for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back.”
Lily and Charlie’s love story has been one for the books. They first got together in 2019, made their relationship Instagram official during a trip to France, and in September 2020, Charlie popped the question. Lily, over the moon with excitement, shared the special moment on Instagram, writing, “I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you, and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together.”
A year later, in September 2021, they said “I do” in a beautiful wedding ceremony. “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours,” Lily wrote after the wedding, while Charlie called her “the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person” he had ever known.
