After 15 unforgettable years working alongside the Princess of Wales, Natasha Archer—fondly known as “Tash”—is saying goodbye to palace life. The woman who helped shape Kate Middleton’s iconic style is ready to start something new, and it’s a major move.
Natasha joined the royal team back in 2010 as a personal assistant to both Prince William and Kate. Over time, she became much more than that—she was Kate’s go-to support system, style advisor, and a constant presence during both big public moments and deeply personal ones.
From coordinating glamorous wardrobes for royal tours (remember the 24 outfit changes in 19 days during their Australia and New Zealand trip?) to being there at the hospital ahead of Prince George’s birth, Natasha has seen it all.

She’s played a huge role in Kate’s transformation from a relatable young royal to a true fashion icon. The “Kate Middleton Effect”—where whatever she wears instantly sells out—has even been estimated to bring over $1.2 billion to the UK fashion industry each year. And Natasha was the woman behind many of those headline-making looks.
In fact, she was the mastermind who encouraged William to wear a traditional sherwani on their 2019 trip to Pakistan, and worked closely with Kate to recycle and rent outfits to promote sustainable fashion—like the neon green dress Kate borrowed from HURR for the Earthshot Prize in 2022.

Beyond fashion, Natasha has been by Kate’s side through highs, lows, and everything in between—including a five-hour mountain hike in Bhutan, just in case the princess needed a quick change of clothes. She was always there, quietly making everything run smoothly.

In 2019, Natasha’s dedication was officially recognized when she was awarded the Royal Victorian Order, a personal honor from the monarch. She was later promoted to senior private executive assistant in 2022.

Now, she’s leaving her royal role to launch her own private consultancy—though the details of this new venture are still under wraps. The royal household has wished her all the best, and it’s clear she leaves with deep respect and gratitude.
Natasha, who is married to Getty royal photographer Chris Jackson and a mom of two, is stepping away at a time when Kate is gradually returning to public life after her recent cancer treatment. During a visit to Colchester Hospital on July 2, Kate spoke candidly about finding a “new normal” in recovery—and Natasha is doing the same, in her own way.
