Jack Black knows how to make an entrance—but this time, things didn’t go quite as planned! The 55-year-old actor and musician stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 31 to chat about his upcoming role in A Minecraft Movie and his Saturday Night Live hosting gig on April 5. But before he could even sit down for the interview, he had the audience roaring with laughter.
Black stormed onto the stage, rocking out on an electric guitar as the crowd went wild. But as he made his way up the steps to greet Jimmy Fallon, his pants decided to steal the spotlight—slipping right down to reveal his black and red boxers!

Without missing a beat, Black pulled up his pants and hugged Fallon, laughing off the wardrobe malfunction like a true pro. The audience loved every second of it, cheering even louder when Black threw in a few dance moves for good measure.
Fallon, clearly amused, told Black, “You bring the heat! You bring the energy!”
To which Black quipped back, “I didn’t bring a belt. That’s what I didn’t bring.”
The fun continued during the interview, where Black reminisced about his past SNL hosting gigs in 2002, 2003, and 2005. Fallon even surprised him with a throwback clip from one of his earliest acting gigs—a childhood commercial for a video game!
This weekend, Black will return to SNL, joined by musical legends Elton John and Brandi Carlile. He’s stepping into the hosting role after actress Mikey Madison made her SNL debut last week, fresh off her big Oscar win.
One thing’s for sure: whether it’s on SNL, a blockbuster movie, or late-night TV, Jack Black never fails to entertain!
