Singer Grimes is desperately trying to get Elon Musk’s attention and she’s taken to social media to do it. On Thursday, February 20, the artist made a series of now-deleted posts on X (formerly Twitter), begging the billionaire to respond about what she described as their child’s “Medical Crisis.”
“Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis,” Grimes, 36, wrote in one post. “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”
The musician didn’t share specific details about the medical issue but made it clear that time was of the essence. Musk, 53, has yet to publicly acknowledge her pleas.

Desperate for a Response
Grimes and Musk, who were first linked in 2018 and split for good in 2022, share three children: X Æ A-Xii (4), Exa Dark Sideræl (3), and Techno Mechanicus (2). She did not specify which child needed urgent care.
In another post, she directly called on Musk to designate someone to communicate with her if he wasn’t willing to speak to her himself. “If you don’t want to talk to me, can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon,” she pleaded.
After a follower suggested that airing the issue publicly might not help, Grimes defended her decision, saying Musk had been completely unresponsive. “I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts, calls, or emails and has skipped every meeting. Our child will suffer lifelong impairment if he doesn’t respond ASAP,” she explained. “So I need him to f—— respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we’re at.”

Musk, known for his active presence on X, has continued posting memes and business updates while ignoring Grimes’ concerns, fueling further criticism online. A source told PEOPLE, “Instead of being present in his children’s lives, he’d rather tweet memes.”
This isn’t the first time Grimes has publicly called out the tech mogul. Earlier this month, she was upset to learn—through a random user on X—that Musk had taken their son X Æ A-Xii to the Oval Office without telling her. “He should not be in public like this,” she posted. “I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
Her latest public outcry comes just a week after reports surfaced that Musk recently welcomed his 13th child with writer Ashley St. Clair, marking another chapter in the billionaire’s complicated personal life.
As of now, Musk has yet to respond to Grimes’ urgent pleas.
