Casey Anthony’s New ‘Legal Expert’ Gig Has Nancy Grace Seeing Red
More than a decade after being acquitted of her daughter’s murder, Casey Anthony is back in the spotlight—but not for reasons you’d expect. Now 39, Anthony has taken to social media, branding herself as a “legal advocate” and offering advice to the public. But longtime critic Nancy Grace isn’t having it.
Anthony, who was famously acquitted in 2011 of charges related to the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, recently launched a TikTok account and a Substack page, claiming she’s been involved in the legal field since 2011. With over 80,000 TikTok followers and millions of views, she’s clearly gaining attention—but not everyone is impressed.
Grace, the fiery former prosecutor and host of Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, made her feelings clear. “The devil has to come up through the ice when hell freezes over before I will give her a penny,” she told people.

It’s no surprise that Grace is outraged. She’s been covering Anthony’s story since 2008, when Caylee was first reported missing—after being gone for 31 days. As police searched for the little girl, shocking details surfaced: Anthony had been out partying, competing in a “hot body” contest, and even getting a tattoo. Investigators later found evidence of chloroform and human decomposition in her car.

Anthony was charged with first-degree murder, and in late 2008, Caylee’s remains were discovered wrapped in a Winnie the Pooh blanket, with what an expert claimed was heart sticker residue on her mouth. However, after a headline-grabbing trial, Anthony was acquitted of murder, child abuse, and manslaughter but was found guilty of lying to police.
Her defense team argued that Caylee had drowned in the family pool and that Anthony and her father, George, covered up the accident. George Anthony denied any involvement and was never charged.
Now, with Anthony stepping into the legal world, Grace isn’t holding back. “I truly do not believe that the public expects legal advice from Tot Mom,” she quipped, referencing the nickname she gave Anthony years ago.

Her advice? Don’t give in to the curiosity. “That’s where self-control comes in,” she said. “Don’t give in to the prurient curiosity to see what Tot Mom says next.”
For better or worse, Casey Anthony is back in the conversation—whether the public wants to listen or not.
