A tragic story out of Wyoming has taken another heartbreaking turn. A 7-Year-Old Girl Dies Days After Surviving Tragic Family Shooting has now passed away, just days after the attack.
The nightmare unfolded on Monday, February 10, when 35-year-old Tranyelle Harshman shot her four daughters at their home before turning the gun on herself. Police say she called 911 after the attack, reporting that she believed her children were dead.
By the time authorities arrived, three of the children—2-year-old twins Brooke and Jordan and 9-year-old Brailey—had already lost their lives. Miraculously, 7-year-old Olivia survived the shooting and was rushed to the hospital.
For five days, Olivia fought to stay alive. Her father, Quinn Blackmer, and stepmother, Katelynn, stayed by her side, hoping for a miracle. But on Saturday, February 15, at 3:44 p.m., Olivia passed away.
“She fought so hard until the very last minute,” Katelynn shared in a GoFundMe update. “Her body had just been through too much.”

Her father, Quinn, expressed the overwhelming grief the family is feeling. “The only peace I find is knowing my babies are together now,” he wrote on Facebook, sharing a heartbreaking image of the four sisters with angel wings.
A Family in Mourning

Tranyelle’s husband, Cliff Harshman, lost his twin daughters in the shooting. Speaking with KTVQ, he struggled to process what happened.
“I’m angry. I don’t even know how to explain it,” he said. “People don’t understand how mental illness isn’t just about willpower. It’s chemical. It’s damaged pathways in the brain.”
Cliff revealed that his wife had long battled postpartum depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. “She was an incredible mom who loved her kids,” he insisted. “My wife was not a monster.”
Authorities say Tranyelle told the 911 dispatcher where each child could be found before taking her own life.
In the wake of the tragedy, GoFundMe pages for both families have raised over $100,000 to help cover medical and funeral costs.
This devastating event serves as a painful reminder of the impact of mental health struggles and the importance of seeking help before it’s too late.
