Meghan Markle and Billie Eilish just made a teenager’s day in the most incredible way!
When devastating wildfires tore through Altadena, California, in early January, many families lost everything—including one 15-year-old girl who had just been to a Billie Eilish concert. She left her cherished tour T-shirt in the washer before evacuating, only to return to find her home, and everything in it, reduced to ashes.
That heartbreaking detail stuck with Meghan, who met the girl and her mom while visiting the fire-stricken community with her husband, Prince Harry. Moved by the teen’s story, the Duchess of Sussex decided she had to do something.

“I don’t know Billie Eilish,” Meghan admitted in a video she shared on Instagram, “but I was determined to get that shirt back for her.” So she reached out to her network, sending a voice note asking for help—and it worked! Thanks to musician Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, Meghan’s message made its way to Billie.
Fast forward a few days, and Meghan excitedly opened a package filled with Billie Eilish merch—personally signed by the singer! In her Instagram video, Meghan beamed as she showed off the gifts, including a special lunchbox with a hand-drawn gold star. “Is that a thing?” she laughed, admitting she felt “really old” for not knowing.
She went on to thank Billie, Adam, and Behati for making the surprise possible, before sending a heartfelt message to everyone supporting wildfire victims. “The real heroes here are the first responders and the communities rallying around each other,” she said.

Meghan and Harry, who live in Montecito, have been actively helping with relief efforts. They visited Pasadena on Jan. 10 to hand out food and supplies, welcomed evacuees into their home, and have been supporting teen-led recovery efforts through their Archewell Foundation. Meghan even postponed the launch of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, originally set for Jan. 15, to focus on the crisis. The show will now premiere on March 4.
“This is my home state, and these people need help,” Meghan said in a statement. “I’m grateful to Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we prioritize those affected.”
For the teen who lost everything, though, it’s safe to say this one act of kindness will be a memory she treasures forever.
